Info: Pretended to be struck in anticipation of her elevation to the throne. In it's style it is meant to imitate the coins of the time of Henry VIII. It is Considerably thicker and heavier than the genuine shillings of that time.

Size: Approximate size 13" (33cm).
Info: She is dressed in a soft fawn velvet gown trimmed with gold metallic braid. The front panel of her gown is of patterned red silk brocade, as are the full lower sleeves. The tight fawn upper sleeves bell out into a funnel shape and are lined in exotic fur, turning back to the elbow to form a rich display. Her head-dress is a trimmed with red, metallic gold braid and pearls, with a black veil at the back. Round her neck she wears pearls and around her waist a heavy gold decorative pendant.

Specifications:
Period: Tudor
Medium: The dolls’ body is porcelain. Her arms can be posed, but she is not able to sit down.
Size: 1/12th scale; 5 ½” tall.
Info: The Tudor gown is silk brocade with a contrasting front panel which matches the lower sleeves, trimmed with burgundy braid. The skirt and upper sleeves are lined in green silk. Her veil is of black net with a French Hood. She wears a “ruby and pearl” necklace and a waist chain with a cross and carries a lace handkerchief. Her drawers and petticoat are lace trimmed silk and her shoes are green leather. - She costs £60.00 (about $109 USD, which is subject to change).

Very fine and a seemingly unpublished example of Emery's work E80-120.
Provenance: Bt Spink c. 1960. Struck in the hammered style of the Queen Mary coinage Pagan lists a jeton and a medal of Lady Jane Grey (nos. 87, 88), both with a three-quarter left facing bust.

Info: Lady Jane Grey was, for a moment in time, the Queen of England. And as such she was expected to dress according to her station. Quite like Cissette with the upswept Tosca hair has. Her hair color wonderfully compliments her blue and gold 16th century gown, which features a white lace collar and green stomacher.
