Comic & Strip Pictures of Jane's Life

My Collection - These appeared in the book "June and School Friend - 2nd Book of Heroines - 1971". Published by IPC Magazines Ltd., Fleetway House, Farringdon Street London, England. Each panel opens into a new window, click on the one you want for a larger view. The story is not exactly historically correct, especially on the following points: 1. Edward and Jane were born the same year and month, so he was not "a year her junior." 2. Jane and Mary never met after Jane was taken prisoner. 3. I highly doubt Jane would've worn all red to her trial as she would've found it too ostentatious! 4. Jane wasn't kept in a cell, but in the Gentleman Goaler's lodgings. 5. Jane and Guildford were executed the same day. 6. I think the panel where it says "Jane went to the scaffold with dignity..." is suppose to show Elizabeth watching the execution, but the outfit she's wearing doesn't jive with the clothes she would've been wearing. I don't think Elizabeth starting to wearing that type til sometime during her reign. 7. And of course it says she was 17, and not 16.
